The sun goddess and founder of Hymera. She is a chimera created as a pet for the sun god Ra of the Egyptian Parthenon of the old world. She was created using one of Fenris's fangs, a tiger's eye gemstone, a phoenix feather, and a touch of Sunfire. She has a human form, gifted to her by the Beast King, but will more commonly be seen in her chimera form. She is described as a large brown wolf with a black mane and black stripes, golden falcon pattered wings, an Egyptian style collar necklace, and bracelets, with Sunfire blazing from her paws. Her tail and feather crest at her forehead are also golden with phoenix feathers.

Although you have surely heard the name Beast King before, his name is actually Mezrah. He is the creator of the soul stones that saved the creatures of Hymera from the overcharge of mana that resulted from the First Dragon War. He can call the Grim to devour the souls that he believes do not belong in Hymera and is very insistent on a ritual of thanks for any beast killed for food, and absolutely no hunting for pleasure or power is to be done. He is ruler over every creature including half beasts and shifters and was said to be the one to give the shifting gifts to the old world as well. He is the patron god for the Tamer's Guild to make sure that order is maintained and that the bonds are not taken advantage of. His power seems to come from something in his past, he was not born a god, but he seems unwilling to let people know that story.

Those of you from the old world might recognize the name Nyx. Our Noctes is one in the same. She is Hymera's goddess of night.

Like Noctes this goddess had shed her name from the old world. She is the Earth Dragon Elder's wife and the one who gave the Ferox a home on her lands. She is one of the key creators of Hymera, bringing life to the barren rock that her husband created. 

There is said to be a trapped goddess who makes her home in the Firelands. Bound to the volcano Solterra she is guarded by large wolf like creatures who drip with molten lava. She was betrayed in the old world and trapped for no fault of her own. Aumerah had seen herself in the young goddess and brought her and her seal to Hymera, hoping that they could one day remove it and let her roam free once again.

Given to Noctes by another goddess named Selene, Lundera is a dragon that resides as Hymera's moon goddess.

God of Time

Although only a few of these great dragons and their descendants are still alive today they were a crucial part of the journey to make Hymera a reality. They are detailed more in the Elders section. When the Royal Guard betrayed them and the mana exploded it took away a lot of their god power and are no longer considered deities.

Seen a few times as a large black dog with crocodile-like scales, this god has a link with the Beast King that allows him to hide and appear from his shadow. His primary goal is to devour evil souls so they cannot reincarnate. Those devoured by the Grim are gone forever. His origins tell that he is the child of the old world Ammit of the Egyptian Parthenon he fulfills a similar role to his mother.

Partner with the god of souls, together they judge how much light the soul holds and what it should be reincarnated to. When the Grim is not being directly used by the Beast king it will usually stay in thier domain for the free food.

Bolten guards the gates of Hymera to make sure a repeat of the Beast Wars and someone like Searen slipping through again. Like Aumerah he is a chimera that the mages of the world created for Aumerah as a thank you for bringing them to Hymera.  The Beast King offered up some of his own power to give life to the Gate Guardian
